Sheamus Introduces NXT Star For Debut At WWE Live Event

Sheamus has introduced a NXT star for their debut at a WWE live event.

WWE has usually tested their NXT talent on the main roster through shows like Main Event as well as their house shows.

With the company in the United Kingdom ahead of this Saturday’s Money In The Bank event, they are running live events across the UK with Thursday, June 29 marking their return to Dublin, Ireland.

On the June 29 house show, Sheamus introduced NXT star and Ireland’s own Lyra Valkyria for her main roster debut.

Valkyria started with WWE on the NXT UK brand before making her way to NXT proper earlier this year.

The NXT star has made a name for herself since coming to America and even competed for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship, coming up short against Tiffany Stratton at NXT Battleground last month.

Valkyria is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Jacy Jayne on WWE NXT, so it remains to be seen if her appearance at the live event will lead to an official main roster call-up.

On the latest episode of NXT, there was a backstage segment where Valkyria attacked Jayne, and then WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley came in and called Valkyria a badass.
