Update On Kevin Dunn & WWE’s Relationship Following Departure WWE

There has been an update on Kevin Dunn and WWE’s relationship over the past few weeks ahead of his departure from the company.

Long-time WWE executive Kevin Dunn departed the company on January 1 after over 40 years with the company.

WWE CEO Nick Khan sent out an internal memo about Dunn’s departure, and more information about his departure, and his relationship with the company prior to his departure, have been revealed.

Per PWInsider, who initially reported about Dunn’s departure, the assumptions that Dunn was retiring altogether were not true, and that while Dunn is done with WWE by his own choice, he is still open to potential film and television projects down the line.

PWInsider notes that, while Dunn was praised on his way out of the company, there is a growing belief that Dunn left because he felt disrespected, and was a ‘Vince McMahon Guy’.

While the positives are being played up publicly, PWInsider was told the relationship between the two sides grew more and more frayed in recent weeks, with one source claiming it was ‘getting uglier’, even after Dunn put in his notice over Christmas week.

It was noted that Dunn wasn’t going to let anyone else dictate how he ran the TV production after 40 years being in charge, with Endeavor also looking to cut costs.

Kevin Dunn’s potential replacement in the company has been revealed, which you can see here.
