Who Pitched For Bed Of Nails Spot In AEW Blood & Guts Revealed AEW

Last week saw the 2023 version of the AEW Blood & Guts match, taking place in Boston.

The match saw the Golden Elite team of Kenny Omega, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, the Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi defeat the Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, PAC and Konosuke Takeshita.

The match saw many brutal moments, which included Jon Moxley introducing a bed of nails into the match, which he eventually took several bumps onto.

A new report from Sports Illustrated has broken down the match, including the introduction of the bed of nails, which was an idea suggested by Moxley himself, naturally.

Moxley had long wanted to use the apparatus in one of his matches after he saw it a long time ago on the independents.

The match ended up overrunning, which caused several spots to be removed from the match.

The overrun also led to the promo segment between the two sides being pulled from the show, and taking place after the show had ended.

Claudio Castagnoli had said that he believes the segment should have aired on the broadcast.
