There has been an update on the first ever winner of a brand new WWE championship set to be introduced in NXT.
The NXT Women’s North American Championship combine was held to determine which 12 women would make the cut to compete in qualifying matches ahead of the final hurdle.
Those 12 women will compete in six singles matches, with the six winners advancing to a six-way ladder match at NXT Battleground to crown the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.
In several segments throughout the show, the different aspects of the NXT Women’s combine were showcased including rounds testing the stars’ speed and strength.
In the end, out of the 20 women who competed in the combine, NXT General Manager Ava announced that the top 12 will go on to qualifying matches.

Brinley Reece
Michin
Fallon Henley
Lash Legend
Ivy Nile
Izzi Dame
Kelani Jordan
Tatum Paxley
Wren Sinclair
Next week in the first set of qualifying matches, Sol Ruca will take on Izzi Dame, and Ivy Nile will take on Lash Legend.
