Rhea Ripley was positioned as a babyface for the first year of her WWE career, beginning back in the build up to WrestleMania 37, when she defeated Asuka to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
Rhea turned heel for the first time back at WrestleMania Backlash this year, when she joined the Judgment Day, allowing Edge to score the victory over AJ Styles.
The group, now consisting of Rhea, Damian Priest, Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio, has been causing chaos on Raw in recent months, and fans have begun to notice Ripley’s recent lack of in-ring time on the show.
Ripley’s last match was a victory in a four-way over Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Doudrop to earn her the right to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank.
The match ended up not happening due to an injury to Rhea, and she has not wrestled since her return from injury back in July. Nevertheless, Rhea spoke with Sports Bible Australia, discussing her current role, and how she’s having the ‘time of her life’ during it.
She said:
“I’m having the time of my life and I think that comes across on TV as well.
“I’m generally really having fun out there and everything that I’m doing comes so naturally to me because it’s just how I would react to things.”
Ripley’s role in the story of the Judgment Day saw her be the one to lead to the split between Rey and Dominik Mysterio
