Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio just challenged two NXT stars to a mixed tag team match at next week’s special edition of NXT, Heatwave.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s WWE NXT, Rhea Ripley issued a challenge for next week.

After the dastardly duo were joking about Dom having defeated Dragon Lee last week on NXT, Rhea went on to issue a challenge to Lyra Valkyria.

Ripley suggested a mixed tag match pitting Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria against Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.

Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, another match featuring a typically main roster WWE star was announced for next week’s Heatwave.

Baron Corbin will take on Von Wagner after the pair had an in-ring promo exchange tonight.
