A top WWE star has been officially announced as a presenter for the NHL Awards on June 26, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
The annual ceremony will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and will air on TNT in the United States at 8PM ET.
The NHL Awards is being hosted by the country music singer-songwriter, Dierks Bentley, who has been Grammy-nominated multiple times over his career.
The ceremony will see thirteen regular season awards being given out, with categories including most valuable player, outstanding rookie, outstanding defensemen, and outstanding goaltender.
In attendance as an award presenter? None other than WWE star Sheamus.
Sheamus won’t be the only celebrity name presenting awards, with the legendary Nashville Predators player Pekka Rinne also on presenting duties, alongside the likes of Willie O’Ree and fellow Hockey Hall of Famer Mark Messier.
Being the hub of country music, a number of names from the popular genre are also “pencilled in” for presenting duties, including Jessie James Decker, Dustin Lynch, Darius Rucker and Trisha Yearwood.
Bleacher Report has made predictions for the five major awards that will be presented this evening.
