Over the last few weeks on Monday Night Raw, WWE has seemingly been positioning Rhea Ripley as a heel in her feud with Asuka and Charlotte Flair.
This theory was highlighted on Raw two weeks ago, when Rhea Ripley teamed with top heels Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to take on the clearly babyface team of Asuka, Naomi and Lana.
Despite this, Bryan Alvarez explained on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is telling fans in the ThunderDome to cheer Ripley, implying that the company sees her as a babyface. He said:
“By the way, the bloke in the ThunderDome that tells people what to do was once again telling everyone to cheer Rhea Ripley.”

Prior to her debut on the main roster, reports suggested that WWE was planning on brining in Rhea Ripley as a heel, but the fact that fans are being told to cheer her implies that she is now seen as a babyface despite her booking suggesting otherwise.
