After weeks of buildup, AEW’s Beach Break special is just next week. Now, in addition to the matches that had already been announced, a new stipulation match has been set for the show.
All Elite Wrestling announced today that Eddie Kingston will have a rematch against Lance Archer in a Lumberjack match. They made the announcement on Twitter:
After Kingston beat Archer last night utilizing outside interference, @AEW GM @TonyKhan will even the odds for a rematch as Eddie Kingston will face Lance Archer in a Lumberjack match at #BeachBreak, next Wed, Feb 3rd on #AEWDynamite, tix are on sale now https://t.co/UN1cNj1kQq! pic.twitter.com/el4nlHV61P

Kingston and Archer went one-on-one last night on AEW Dynamite. Archer was on offense for most of the match until the finish. He had sent Jake Roberts backstage at the beginning of the match only for Roberts to be attacked by The Butcher and the Blade. This provided enough of a distraction for Kingston to hit Archer with a foreign object for the win.
Only one week later, the two will go at it again, this time with the AEW roster surrounding the ring.
Here is the current card for AEW Beach Break:
- Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers vs. Jon Moxley, PAC & Rey Fenix
- AEW World Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Battle Royale
- Lumberjack Match – Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer
- Thunder Rosa vs. Britt Baker
- Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford get married
