Dakota Kai has described the “positive environment” in WWE under Triple H.
WWE has been undergoing some major changes since Vince McMahon’s retirement and Triple H assuming all creative duties for the main roster.
One of the first changes The Game brought to WWE under his leadership was bringing back Dakota Kai, who was released from the company in April 2022.
Speaking with Today FM, Kai discussed her return to the promotion and how the environment was under Triple H.
She said:
“I can’t really speak to what it was like before because I was in “NXT,” but under Hunter in “NXT,” it was very cool and very relaxed. He took a lot of ideas on board creatively and he was very open to anything we had to offer.”
The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion continued on to compare the environment with WWE now to NXT under Triple H, saying:
“The environment feels like that again under his control. It’s a very positive environment right now and I’m loving the spontaneity of anything can happen — we haven’t had that type of feeling in WWE for a while.”
Dakota Kai returned at SummerSlam 2022 and aligned with Bayley in a new stable with another former NXT talent IYO SKY.
Kai and SKY have advanced to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals after defeating Asuka and Alexa Bliss on the August 22 edition of Raw.
