Jey Uso has addressed his SmackDown absence amid uncertainty surrounding his allegiance to the Bloodline faction.
At Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn turned on Roman Reigns, after the Tribal Chief ordered Zayn to brutalize Kevin Owens with a steel chair.
Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso then beat Zayn down, after Jey Uso left the ring, not picking sides.
On the February 3 edition of SmackDown, Reigns snapped at the members of the Bloodline for not being able to locate Jey Uso, who hadn’t turned up for the show.
On his Instagram story following the episode, Jey Uso shared a photo with a message seemingly for his family.
Jey wrote:
Riding thru the city… Is where I be… 🩸
Jey Uso previously teased his departure from the Bloodline, taking to Instagram to note ‘I’m out’. This post was referenced on WWE commentary during SmackDown, further hinting that Jey’s time under Roman Reigns is over.
In the final segment of SmackDown, Sami Zayn attacked Reigns, before challenging the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion to a match at Elimination Chamber, which Reigns accepted.
The Usos are slated to defend their SmackDown Tag Team Championship against Braun Strowman & Ricochet on the February 10 episode.
