A new report has revealed if a former NXT star might have been offered an AEW contract.
EJ Nduka recently became a free agent after his contract with Major League Wrestling roughly a month ago. However, it seems like the former NXT star could be off the market already.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Nduka was offered a contract from All Elite Wrestling following his bout against Konosuke Takeshita on the February 7 edition of AEW Dark.
The match was filmed a few weeks back, but it has not been confirmed on whether or not the former MLW World Tag Team Champion has accepted the deal.
Nduka previously worked for WWE NXT for several years under the moniker of “Ezra Judge”. He was released in 2021 and later signed with MLW shortly thereafter.
The former MLW star has garnered attention from multiple promotions across the globe since becoming a free agent earlier this year.
Nduka held the MLW World Tag Team Champions with Calvin Tankan for 315 days. He appeared on the first episode of “MLW Underground” on Reelz, facing Alexander Hammerstone for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing Match this week.
We will have further updates on EJ Nduka’s status with AEW when they become available.
