A change has been made to an announced match for tonight’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
On last night’s AEW Collision, AEW announced several new matches that would take place on the show’s Zero Hour pre-show show.
One of those matches pitted Swerve Strickland, Toa Liona and Kaun of the Mogul Embassy against El Desperado, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero.
Well, that match will no longer be going down as previously announced, as Tony Khan took to Twitter to hype the match before the show, but this time as an eight-man tag team match.
The match will now see Brian Cage on the side of the Mogul Embassy, as well as Chuck Taylor on the side of Trent, Rocky and Despy.
The other matches on the Zero Hour pre-show will be Athena taking on Billie Starkz in an Owen Hart Cup first round match, United Empire’s Kyle Fletcher, TJP and Jeff Cobb taking on Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI, and Stu Grayson facing El Phantasmo.
Another major change has been made to the show, with a top AEW star being pulled due to injury, which you can read here.
