A new update has provided when an injured star will make their return.
Starting 2023 with a bang, Mickie James defeated Jordynne Grace to keep her career going and win the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship at IMPACT Hard To Kill in January.
However, James would have to eventually relinquish the title following a fractured rib and shoulder injury in a match in February.
As previously reported, Fightful recently mentioned that Mickie James was expected to be returning soon from the injury. However, Mickie’s first match will not be back in an IMPACT Wrestling ring.
On July 2, James confirmed she will have her first match back since February for the Association Biterroise de Catch” Festival International De Catch” in France on July 8 when she competes in the Jean Corne Cup against Aurora Teves. In a quote tweet with the match announced, Mickie wrote:
I can’t wait to go to France!!! My 1st match back from injury is a real test against @aurorateves & going international!!!! Then our 1st real VACATION in a very Looooooong time. So excited babe @RealNickAldis!!!! LFG!
Mickie James’ husband Nick Aldis has recently returned to IMPACT Wrestling since Mickie’s absence. He will challenge Alex Shelley for the IMPACT World Championship on July 15 at Slammiversary.
