A rising WWE star was victorious in their singles television debut on tonight’s (July 4) episode of WWE NXT.
Raw star Dana Brooke made a trip down to NXT to take part in the NXT Women’s Championship Battle Royal last month.
While the match was won by Thea Hail, Dana has continued to appear on NXT, including a loss to Cora Jade at NXT Gold Rush night two.
During her time on NXT, Dana has taken on a coaching role for rising star Kelani Jordan, who made her NXT television debut in the match.
Dana accompanied Jordan for her singles debut on tonight’s episode of the show, where she picked up her first win on NXT television against Tatum Paxley.
Cora Jade interrupted her and Dana’s celebration, when Kelani challenged Cora to a match right then.
Cora rejected the challenge, walking to the back.
