There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Dustin Rhodes in All Elite Wrestling recently.
Dustin spoke on Busted Open Radio back in December 2022, where he said that his deal had ‘just a matter of months left’ on it.
It was later mentioned that Rhodes’ deal was set to expire at the end of July 2023.
That date has led to many speculating whether or not he could be set to leave the company imminently, and potentially become involved in Cody’s ongoing angle with Brock Lesnar.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Dustin won’t be leaving AEW any time soon, as he still has plenty of time left on his contract.
AEW sources noted to Fightful that Rhodes’ deal is set to expire in September of 2024, with it being confirmed to Fightful by Stewart Myrick that Dustin told him that he had signed an extension.
Dustin has been teaming with Keith Lee as Naturally Limitless on Rampage in recent months.
He came up short in the first round of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, losing to Powerhouse Hobbs.
