On next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite (dubbed Dynamite 200 on August 2) there is set to be a Jericho Appreciation Society showdown.
Don Callis continues to attempt to recruit Chris Jericho to his ‘Don Callis Family’ faction, meanwhile the stable named after Jericho himself seems to be abandoning their leader.
On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (July 26), Don Callis and Chris Jericho were featured together in backstage segment.
Callis not only gifted Jericho a portrait of the two of them from their vintage promo together that played on last week’s show but also, offered him a match.
Noting that he had been able to get Chris Jericho a match tag teaming with Konosuke Takeshita, it was a great way for Jericho to continue to explore if ‘the Family’ was for him.
Callis however neglected to mention the opponents until after Jericho indicated support for the match.
Chris Jericho is set to team with Konosuke Takeshita to take on his former proteges, Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia in a tag team match on next week’s August 2 episode of Dynamite.
Next week’s AEW Dynamite is notably dubbed ‘Dynamite 200’ as it is the 200th episode of the series, also announced for the show is an ‘anything goes’ match featuring Trent Beretta, Penta El Zero Miedo and Jon Moxley.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite through an interweaving story that that evolved throughout the show, Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley seem to have started a new feud.
