There has been a health update on Randy Orton following reports of him being in Detroit ahead of tomorrow night’s WWE SummerSlam show.
Orton has not appeared on WWE television since last May, where he and Matt Riddle were defeated by the Usos in a Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championship Unification match.
It was reported earlier today that Orton was in Detroit ahead of SummerSlam tomorrow night.
The report added speculation that Orton could potentially make his return to the company on tomorrow night’s show, but that seems to not be happening.
In an update from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, despite the reports of Orton being in Detroit, those close to him have said that he is nowhere near medically cleared to return at this point.
Orton isn’t the only absent WWE star that has been speculated about a potential return at SummerSlam, with fans also speculating about a Bray Wyatt return on the show.
The latest update on Wyatt’s status amid SummerSlam speculation can be found here.
