While SummerSlam may be coming up tomorrow, Saturday August 5, it seems there has been at least one error pointed out by a top WWE star.
Drew McIntyre isn’t above throwing some social media jabs in addition to laying hands in the lead up to WWE’s premium live event, SummerSlam.
No, not regarding the booking or anything of the like, moreover an issue with the billed weight for one of the competitors!
Leave it to Drew McIntyre to question the accounting on the current weight of the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, who in a tale of the tape style graphic posted by WWE was listed at 285 lbs, compared to McIntyre’s 262 lbs.
In reality, on TV for a long time now since his body transformation, GUNTHER has been billed at 250 lbs, which is less than McIntyre.
Hopping on Twitter, McIntyre wrote:
“Sure this isn’t WALTER’s weight?”
GUNTHER has made quite the body transformation since his time being known as WALTER, shedding pounds as well as his former moniker ahead of his history making main roster run.
GUNTHER recently became the third-longest reigning Intercontinental Champion ever, passing Randy Savage’s previous record of 413 days.
GUNTHER could be poised to break the Honky Tonk Man’s 454 day record to become the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time.
In order to do so, GUNTHER first must go through Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam, needing to hold the title until at least September 7th to break the record.
