Following the controversial conclusion to this week’s marquee match on WWE NXT to determine the new number one contender to Carmelo Hayes’ NXT Championship, the match’s loser has put out a warning to his current rival.
The match was contested between former North American Champion Wes Lee and Dijak, with a spot in the main event of NXT Heatwave (August 22) up for grabs.
At the point of the match’s conclusion, Dijak’s rival Eddy Thorpe made his way to ringside, which proved pivotal, becoming enough of a distraction for Lee to capitalise and get the win via pinfall.
Unsurprisingly, Dijak wasn’t too pleased with Thorpe’s crucial interjection, taking to Twitter afterwards in response, sending a warning that some justice may be coming his way.
Dijak wrote:
Eddie Thorpe wants to smoke peyote and go dancing with wolves well guess what Tatanka now it’s on sight bitch.
Dijak then elaborated on his misspelling of Thorpe’s first name in the tweet, assuring everyone it was definitely intentional due to his hatred of the Nevada-born star, adding:
I intentionally spelled his name wrong because I hate him. F you Eddy.
Dijak previously defeated Thorpe on the August 1 NXT, however, Thorpe made clear that he wasn’t done with him just there.
