A Hall of Famer is returning to the ring at IMPACT 1000.
IMPACT Wrestling will be filming the 1000th episode of their weekly program from White Plains, New York on September 9.
The company previously announced that IMPACT Hall of Famer Awesome Kong would be appearing on the show.
Now, IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed that Kong will be returning to the ring for a match for the first time in over three years on the 1000th episode.
Awesome Kong is a two-time TNA Knockouts Champion and a former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She officially retired from the ring at NWA EmPowerrr on August 28, 2021.
