A top WWE star has recalled working on his promo skills.
Since arriving in WWE back in 2014, Finn Balor has seen himself improve and evolve in many different ways.
When he signed with the promotion, Balor was known for his exceptional in-ring ability, but he has slowly become a capable talker on the mic over the years as well.
Speaking on the latest edition of Cheap Heat, the Judgment Day member admitted that it all came down to reps on the mic for his improvement in that department. Balor said:
“My promo skills only started to develop when I came to WWE and it’s a steep curve here in WWE because you’ve got like guys that are at the top of their game,”
“So when you’re compared to guys like Randy Orton or John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and you’re kind of in that same cast of people, of course, your skills are going to look subpar.“
Explaining how he has felt more comfortable on the microphone during his current Judgment Day run, Finn said:
“Especially since working heel, I feel like it’s closer to my true personality of who I am, so I just speak as I would speak,”
“I don’t really have to sugarcoat things or kiss anyone’s ass too much.”
Finn Balor recently became a Grand Slam Champion in WWE when he and Damian Priest defeated Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at WWE Payback.
