WWE has announced an upcoming ‘strap match’, a usually violent stipulation headed for a feud from NXT.
On recent episode of WWE NXT, there has been a burgeoning rivalry between Eddy Thorpe and Dijak.
Things took a much more personal turn last week when Dijak was spotted desecrating an important place to Thorpe, cutting a promo on Eddy before whipping a tree with a belt.
With Thorpe explaining on this week’s NXT (September 19) that Dijak had awakened a more vicious side of him by abusing the sacred tree and now he is ready for a unique match.
Thorpe challenged Dijak to a strap match, which was later confirmed for next week’s September 26 episode of NXT.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, there was an NXT Women’s Title match confirmed for NXT’s upcoming premium live event, No Mercy for defending champion Becky Lynch – find out her challenger at this link.
