Becky Lynch’s Opponent Confirmed For NXT No Mercy

Becky Lynch’s Opponent Confirmed For NXT No Mercy WWE

UPDATE: A stipulation has now been added to this match – find out at this link.

Tonight’s episode of NXT (September 19) kicked off with the new NXT Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch back in the Performance Center.

Cutting an in-ring promo, Lynch had a list of named of NXT stars that she named in rhyme before being interrupted.

Tiffany Stratton emerged to have a short back and forth verbal exchange, including Tiffany telling Becky she should be thanking her.

According to Stratton, by saying her name she gave Becky something to do beside cruise ‘retirement homes’ for Hall of Famers to get clout for herself.

Before Becky laughed that Stratton was better at fighting than talking, there was seemingly a challenge accepted for No Mercy.

After their segment broke down into fisticuffs, Kiana James ran out to also attack Becky, with commentary explaining that she doesn’t want Lynch in NXT either as the reason for her and Stratton coming together to fight a mutual enemy.

In an interview segment after that, Becky Lynch interrupted Ilja Dragunov (with his permission) to challenge both Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton to a two on one match tonight in the NXT main event.

Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed that Tiffany Stratton would be challenging Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship at the upcoming NXT premium live event, No Mercy on September 30.
