WWE Survivor Series is set to take place in Chicago next month, which has led to a lot of speculation about a certain Best In The World showing up.
However, Shane McMahon is seemingly still injured, so CM Punk will have to do.
WWE have reportedly turned down the chance to bring Punk back to the company, but there have still been a lot of hints on television that are almost too much to overlook.
If Punk is to make his return at Survivor Series in Chicago, here are 9 potential opponents for him.
9. Shinsuke Nakamura
The most recent “tease” for Punk’s return took place on October 9, when Shinsuke Nakamura attacked Ricochet on the ramp.
Shinsuke hit Ricochet with a GTS on the show, which could either tease the return of CM Punk or Hideo Itami.
WWE then made sure to upload the isolated clip of Nakamura hitting the GTS to Instagram, knowing exactly what reaction it would get.
Nakamura hitting the GTS could signal that he may get involved with Punk should he return, but there is someone else that has also been at the forefront of the “teases”.
