Vince McMahon announced his initial retirement from WWE back in July 2022.
McMahon’s retirement came after an article in the Wall Street Journal brought to light allegations against him which ultimately ended with him stepping away from the company.
McMahon spoke to FOX News ahead of veterans day, touting WWE headquarters in Stanford raising a flag in support of the veterans.
During the FOX News article, it was noted that McMahon was asked about the allegations that led to him stepping away, but he declined to comment.
The article noted:
McMahon, 78, has been mostly out of the public eye over the last couple of years as he faced sexual assault allegations, a lawsuit that was later settled, and a federal investigation. When asked for comment by Fox News Digital, McMahon declined.
McMahon sold 8,400,000 shares of TKO stock yesterday, which equates to roughly 30% of his power in the company.
This came just days after TKO publicly noted McMahon’s presence on the board was a risk factor that could have adverse impacts on business.
