AEW World Champion MJF has named who he thinks has the potential to be the future of All Elite Wrestling.
While many previously hailed MJF as the future of the company, Max has shown the world that he’s the present, with his exciting weekly appearances as AEW World and ROH Tag Team champion.
Speaking during a session with Dr. Beau Hightower ahead of Full Gear, MJF named Daniel Garcia as a future star, noting:
“I just wrestled him on TV for the World Title. I think Daniel Garcia is a hell of a talent.
“He’s just got to get the f**k away from people that are giving him bad advice like Cool Hand Ange and Daddy Magic.”
MJF also sang HOOK’s praises, stating:
“I believe in Hook wholeheartedly. I think every single time I see Hook, he’s getting better in the ring and he’s also getting more comfortable in front of a live audience.
“Which, frankly is the hardest part of the job. And I think that’s why I skyrocketed so fast, because it was never an issue for me. But I watch that dude Hook, d he walks through that curtain, and you would think he’s been a professional wrestler for 30 years.
“That’s how much confidence that guy has. Nothing shakes that dude.”
MJF went on to successfully defend both his ROH Tag Team and AEW World titles at the November 18 Full Gear pay-per-view.
The popular star is now slated to defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End on December 30.
