A former WWE star has addressed a potential return in the 2024 Royal Rumble following questions being asked online.
Four-time former Women’s Champion Michelle McCool has been a somewhat recurring character in the WWE Royal Rumble ever since the company began holding a 30-women match in 2018.
Since 2018, McCool has racked up an impressive eight eliminations in Rumble matches, with a a total time of over 40 minutes; all despite not actively competing in WWE since 2011.
Given that McCool has appeared in the last two Rumble matches, it’s safe to assume fans have been questioning whether we can expect to see her make it three-in-a-row in the 2024 Rumble.
And now we may have an answer to the burning question as the 43-year-old has addressed the speculation via her Twitter account.
In response to a fan querying whether she will take part in this year’s Rumble, McCool revealed that she hasn’t yet been approached by WWE, saying:
Haven’t been asked
As of now based on McCool’s comments it’s seeming unlikely, however, things could certainly change between now and January 27.
