A new report has shed light on a confirmed new AEW signing, one that has not yet been formally announced by the company.
Viewers of AEW programming will have no doubt noticed the presence of ‘The Bounty Hunter’ Bryan Keith, who has competed numerous times on Dynamite, Collision and ROH TV since mid-December.
Keith’s consistent appearances have led many to wonder whether the 32-year-old has indeed signed with Tony Khan’s company.
While there has been no confirmation courtesy of such via a: ‘Bryan Keith is All-Elite’ graphic, the eleven year veteran was recently pulled from an indy event in order to appear on AEW TV, with the promotion in question further suggesting that Keith was set to be signed.
Now, in a new update from Dave Meltzer’s latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, further details have been learned regarding Keith’s official status with AEW.
Meltzer confirmed that Keith has in fact agreed a deal with the company, however, it’s still not known whether he has joined in a full-time capacity.
Meltzer wrote:
Bryan Keith has signed a deal here, whether it’s a full-time or per-show deal isn’t confirmed.
Usually a full-time deal would come with a “Bryan Keith is All Elite” release by the company
Keith’s most recent appearance on AEW TV came on the January 13 edition of ROH TV, where he competed against former ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli in a losing effort.
