A WWE star has returned to action at a recent pair of live events, competing for the first time in almost three weeks.
On the Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw an unfortunate incident occurred during the tag team match between Jey Uso & Kofi Kingston and Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci).
After a misplaced dropkick from Kingston, the match was stopped prematurely and Vinci was diagnosed with a concussion; being absent from Raw and WWE’s live event circuit ever since.
Thankfully, however that changed this past weekend, with Vinci returning, firstly competing in Montgomery, AL on January 20 and again the following night in Jackson, MS.
Competing in tag action on both nights, Vinci and Kaiser were reunited to take on The Creed Brothers; however, unfortunately for Vinci his return was not greeted by a return to winning ways, as he Imperium tasted defeat on both nights.
In Vinci’s absence, Kaiser has stepped up the aggression; something that has greatly pleased The Ring General GUNTHER.
After brutally taking Kofi Kingston out, in an act of revenge for Vinci’s injury, Kaiser was last week greeted with an also returning Xavier Woods, with a match between the two ending via disqualification in Kaiser’s favor.
With Vinci returning to WWE’s live event circuit, one would expect we could potentially also see him back on TV for tonight’s Monday Night Raw (January 22).
