A WWE star has claimed that “history will be made” ahead of the much anticipated NXT Vengeance Day Premium Live Event (February 4).
NXT’s first PLE of 2024 emanates from F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, TN and is set to see six matches total, including three title matches.
One man who is set to have a busier night than others is Trick Williams, who is not only set to compete in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals, but also challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship in the main event.
It remains to be seen how successful Williams’ night will end up being, however, the 29-year-old seems to be not lacking any confidence as the clock ticks down towards the event starting.
Taking to Twitter, Williams proclaimed that Vengeance Day would be one for the books, saying:
Today history will be made
All going well, Trick-Willy could walk out of the F&M Bank Arena as not only the new NXT Champion but also the number one contender to the NXT Tag Team Champions along with Carmelo Hayes.
With WWE reportedly viewing Williams as a potential future WrestleMania main event level star, it seems as if tonight could be the beginning of a title-laden career.
