WWE star Johnny Gargano has reacted to the announcement that SummerSlam 2024 will emanate from his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
It has now been confirmed that this year’s SummerSlam premium live event will take place at the Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 3.
A number of WWE stars hail from Ohio, including Johnny Gargano, who’s excited about SummerSlam coming to Cleveland.
Gargano took to Twitter to share a video of himself at the Cleveland Browns Stadium from 2019.
Hopeful for a spot on the SummerSlam card, Gargano wrote:
As a kid from Cleveland who grew up loving Pro Wrestling and the @Browns.. wrestling at a @WWE event in front of my family at Cleveland Browns Stadium has always been my crazy lifelong dream that just wouldn’t be possible.
SUMMERSLAM. August 3rd. CLEVELAND. It’s possible..
Other WWE stars from Ohio include The Miz and US Champion Logan Paul, who initially broke the news about SummerSlam’s location.

Gargano may also get the opportunity to wrestle at his first WrestleMania event this year. The popular star has commented on the possibility of him competing in a title match at the event, which you can read more about right here.
