A WWE star has said that there is ‘no way’ that Roman Reigns retains the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Reigns has reigned as the Universal Champion for three and a half years, capturing the title back at Payback in 2020.
He’s set to defend the title against Cody Rhodes in a rematch of last year’s WrestleMania main event at this year’s event in Philadelphia, with many believing this will be when Cody finally finishes his story.
Speaking on WWE Die Woche, WWE star Xavier Woods spoke on the upcoming match at WrestleMania, saying that there is ‘no way’ Roman retains the title at WrestleMania.
He said:
“No. There is no way he gets through WrestleMania with that championship. If he does, I don’t know, I can’t say anything just in case he does, but I fully believe he’ll no longer be champion after WrestleMania 40. Then I feel we might just have a champion who shows up and defends the title a little more. Then maybe people will have a shot at winning the Universal Championship.”
Woods himself will be a part of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder match at WrestleMania.
