AEW’s Mercedes Mone has sent a message to WWE star Bayley ahead of her WWE Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 40 Night Two.
Bayley and Mercedes Mone are forever intertwined through their time in WWE, feuding across all brands of the company as well as becoming the company’s first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions.
While they now compete in opposing companies, they remain best friends, with Bayley recently attending Mone’s AEW debut at Big Business on March 13.
Now, ahead of what is arguably Bayley biggest match of her career at WrestleMania 40, Mone has taken to Twitter to send a heartwarming message to the Role Model.
Mone tweeted, alongside four images of the pair during their time in WWE:
Be so good they can’t ignore you because yoU we’re born to do this @itsBayleyWWE
Bayley takes on her former Damage CTRL teammate IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40 Night Two, a spot she earned by winning the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble.
SKY will be hoping to avoid a similar fate her Damage CTRL teammates Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane and Asuka who were knocked off by the star-studded trio of Naomi, Bianca Belair and former AEW Star Jade Cargill.
