7. Braun Strowman
About 18 months ago Braun Strowman was potentially the most over babyface in the whole of WWE. Fans were so invested in his act and people genuinely believed WWE had a huge (in more ways than one) star on their hands. If you fast-forward to 2019, Strowman has failed to win singles gold (note that green Greatest Royal Rumble belt does not count).
Strowman has lost all seven of his Universal Championship matches. The ‘Monster Among Men’ actually became only the fourth man to cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase and lose. Strowman’s only championship win in the WWE was a throw-away comedy segment where he and Nicholas (referee John Cone’s 10-year-old son) defeated the Bar at WrestleMania 34 to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships.
It would appear as if WWE does not know what to do with Strowman and are placing him in a seemingly never-ending feud with Baron Corbin. Strowman has so much potential and WWE needs to clean up their act before the crowd starts turning on Strowman or worse yet, stops caring at all.
The same could have been said for Bray Wyatt at a time during his run with WWE and a feud between Strowman and Wyatt would do wonders for both men.
WWE has been accused of treating us fans like idiots. They act as if we have forgotten storylines from only a few months ago and there is a severe lack of continuity within the WWE product. Very rarely is a WWE feud multi-dimensional with great attention to detail. WWE has the chance to alter this perception with a Bray Wyatt/Braun Strowman feud.
Strowman debuted on the August 24 episode of Raw as a new addition to the Wyatt Family. The group would go on to wreak havoc for just under a year before Bray Wyatt and Strowman were split up in the Superstar Shake-up.
Since then, Strowman has been pushed hugely as a singles star and excluding one lackluster run as WWE Champion, Bray Wyatt has done very little. Wyatt could go after Strowman, acting envious of the fact that the man who he brought in to WWE as his henchman, has now eclipsed him.
This feud would have a lot of history, depth and detail to it making it extremely engaging. Also whilst Strowman may have been poorly booked of late, he still feels like a big deal and a WrestleMania program between the two upon his return would solidify Wyatt as a top contender in the WWE.
