Wendi Richter was a very popular wrestler back in the ’80s and, with manager pop singer Cyndi Lauper in her corner, she ended the incredibly long championship reign of Fabulous Moolah.
Charlotte Flair, who was at the top of the food chain when the Divas Championship was re-branded to become the WWE Women’s Championship, is one of the best female wrestlers in the world today, and one of the most recognizable. This is due not only to her famous last name and association with her father, Ric Flair, but even more so because of her skill in the ring.
