WWE Clash In Italy will be a historic premium live event for the company with it being the first major show to take place in the country.

This PLE will most likely feature quite a few title bouts on the card, which could open the door for some title changes.

Whether it be stars winning their first singles titles or longtime champions being dethroned, Clash In Italy 2026 should bare witness to some gold switching hands throughout the evening of May 31.

Here are six potential title changes at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

6. GUNTHER Defeats Cody Rhodes To Win Undisputed WWE Championship

On the May 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, GUNTHER attacked Cody Rhodes from behind and laid him out with a sleeper hold.

Making his intentions to go after the Undisputed WWE Championship clear, “The Ring General” cashed in his favor with Paul Heyman to get the contract arranged for a title bout at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

“The American Nightmare” will be more than ready for this title showdown that could potentially headline the upcoming premium live event.

However, GUNTHER has been on a roll following his win over John Cena in his final match and should have what it takes to defeat Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in Turin, Italy.

5. Ethan Page Beats Penta To Win WWE Intercontinental Championship

Ethan Page made his main roster debut in a win over Je’Von Evans on the April 20 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42.

Then on the May 4 episode of Monday Night Raw, Page pinned Penta in a tag match also featuring Evans and Rusev.

While Page is set to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Penta on the May 23 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, there might be a four-way between these two competitors, Evans and Rusev at Clash In Italy 2026.

This might be the stage for “All Ego” to score a win to become the new IC Champion on May 31.

4. Sol Ruca Becomes New WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Over Becky Lynch

After nearly four years on WWE NXT, Sol Ruca was officially called up to the main roster on the April 20 Raw After WrestleMania 42.

On the May 4 edition of Raw, Ruca signed his contract with the red brand, but he was interrupted by WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

After a tense confrontation, Ruca laid out “The Man” with a Sol Snatcher to leave him laying.

Sol beating Lynch to become the new Women’s IC Champion would be a key moment in establishing the former NXT star on Raw at the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 PLE.

3. Fatal Influence Captures WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships From Paige & Brie Bella

On the April 24 WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania 42, Fatal Influence made their main roster debut by attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair during their tag team match.

Since then, Fatal Influence have made it no secret that they plan on winning all the titles in the WWE women’s division.

Meanwhile, Paige and Brie are not looking to back down to any challengers for their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

This could lead to Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid picking up a career defining win over Paige and Bella to become new champions at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

2. Jacy Jayne Wins WWE Women’s Championship From Rhea Ripley

Speaking of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne has become the fastest rising female star in all of WWE today.

After going toe-to-toe with Rhea Ripley in her first match on SmackDown, Jayne picked up a huge victory over Charlotte Flair on the May 1 episode.

While Jade Cargill has returned to SmackDown and has set her sights on a WrestleMania 42 rematch with Ripley, Jayne might be the next opponent in line to challenge “Mami” for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Jayne taking the gold from Ripley at Clash In Italy 2026 would be an excellent way to elevate the Fatal Influence leader to solidify her on the WWE main roster.

1. Jacob Fatu Dethrones Roman Reigns For World Heavyweight Championship

At WWE Backlash 2026, Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Post match, Fatu brutally attacked his cousin with the Tongan Death Grip over and over again before raising the title in the air.

Then on the May 11 edition of Monday Night Raw, Fatu once again assaulted Reigns and put him as well as The Usos through the barricade with a thunderous hip attack.

“The Samoan Werewolf” dethroning “The OTC” for the World Heavyweight Championship feels like the perfect way to close the WWE Clash In Italy premium live event.
