On the June 5 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Giulia and Kiana James finally split up following James’ loss in the Queen of the Ring tournament first round.

While this is the latest WWE tag team breakup to occur on TV, there could be even more to come.

From longtime partners to brief alliances, there could be some notable duos splitting up in the coming weeks and months.

Here are six more WWE tag teams potentially splitting up soon.

6. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria

In 2025, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria battled with one another and Becky Lynch over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

This led to Bayley and Lyra coming together and forming a tag team that has been a consistently featured pairing in the women’s division.

While they have found some success as a pairing, Valkyria and Bayley have been unable to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Following their failures to win gold together, it should lead to Lyra or Bayley deciding to go their separate ways and pursue singles gold on their own.

5. The Culling (Shawn Spears & Niko Vance)

The Culling have been one of the most consistent groups on the WWE NXT brand since forming at the start of 2025.

In this stable, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance have been the duo in the tag team division on NXT.

As of late, Izzi Dame has taken more of a leadership role within the faction, which has caused problems between Spears and Vance.

After multiple failures by Spears, it feels like Vance and Dame might choose to cut their former leader loose and move on with The Culling between the two of them.

4. Paige & Brie Bella

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, Paige made her return to the company and teamed with Brie Bella to defeat The Irresistible Forces, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Since then, Paige and Brie have become fighting champions who have never backed down from any challenge for their gold.

In nearly two months, the legendary duo have proven themselves to be a formidable partnership, but the return of Brie’s sister, Nikki Bella could lead to an abrupt split.

The Bella Twins reuniting may lead to the sisters kicking Paige to the curb, knowing this was supposed to be their moment as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

3. Damian Priest & R-Truth

In March 2026, Damian Priest and R-Truth defeated The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.

This has led to Solo Sikoa and company targeting Priest and Truth over the past couple of months.

In the midst of this rivalry, Royce Keys has been trying to help Priest and Truth, but Sikoa has also been trying to recruit him to The MFTs at the same time.

Keys joining The MFTs might lead to Priest getting frustrated with Truth for not listening and eventually turning on his friend to end their partnership.

2. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

After being singles stars for much of their careers, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss formed a tag team that has found a great deal of success.

Flair and Bliss went on to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and have been among the most prominent stars in the SmackDown women’s division.

While they are best friends now, it has always felt like Charlotte and Alexa are one disagreement from their whole pairing crumbling.

With their desire to win the WWE Women’s Championship, fans could see Bliss or Flair turn on one another before long.

1. The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez)

Judgment Day are still among the most featured stables in the entire WWE today, over four years on from their formation.

With the Queen of the Ring tournament currently underway, it seems like Liv Morgan is not satisfied with being the WWE Women’s World Champion and is looking to add the crown to her list of accolades.

Meanwhile, Raquel Rodriguez defeated Kiana James, Bayley and Jacy Jayne to advance to the Queen of the Ring Semifinals.

Considering they could meet in the finals of the tournament, The Judgment Day could realistically be split down the middle with Rodriguez and Morgan going their separate ways as a result of the Queen of the Ring.
