2023 has been a big year for AEW on pay-per-view, with both Forbidden Door and All In London already added to the usual four events on the AEW calendar.
AEW’s next new pay-per-view is set to take place on October 1, when the first ever AEW WrestleDream emanates from Seattle, Washington.
The event falls on the one year anniversary of the passing of the legendary Antonio Inoki, and Tony Khan has spoken about hoping to get some Japanese talent on the show.
While the logistics of that will be difficult, as both NJPW and STARDOM are set to run events on October 1, there are still a few loose names that may be able to make the event.
With that being said, here’s our predicted card for the inaugural AEW WrestleDream event.
Antonio Inoki Battle Royal
A nice way to feature talent on the show would be to host a Battle Royal in honor of Inoki.
It would feature the AEW stars not booked for the show, as well as any past or current NJPW stars available for the show.
I don’t know what the winner of the match would get, either a trophy or a shot at the NJPW Strong Championship would be my choice.
Miro would be the name I would have as the winner, but it could realistically go to anyone.
