Really, there’s no better time to get caught up with WWE’s ‘third brand’ than now ahead of a big premium live event on Peacock.

On Sunday, July 30, 2023, NXT is set to host its  standalone premium live event, NXT Great American Bash live on Peacock with a stacked card of names you may recognize and some you may not.

Here’s a look at the card for the Great American Bash as well as predictions for the most likely results, with betting odds to back those up.

Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Wes Lee – NXT North American Championship

As we all know, Dirty Dom seems to be running WWE at the minute, having featured in the main events of Raw, NXT and SmackDown all in one week, including capturing a championship in NXT.

With Dominik Mysterio having hopped the line in front of Mustafa Ali to challenge Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship in the first place, Ali interrupted Dom and Wes on the go-home episode of NXT with his own fiery promo ahead of the match being officially announced as a triple threat.

With Mustafa Ali able to capitalize on his ‘free agency’ status after the 2023 Draft to make a substantive character pivot meeting up with a long-reigning, hardworking babyface in Wes Lee, the addition of Mysterio makes the match more intriguing rather than less.
