Here’s when the taping for AEW Battle of the Belts III will take place, following the first two specials which aired earlier this year.
Battle of the Belts I took place on January 8, with the next event in the series airing on April 16, taped the night prior.
AEW has announced that Battle of the Belts III will be taped on August 5, following a live episode of Rampage in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While an airdate hasn’t been confirmed, the previous specials have aired on Saturdays, indicating that it will air on August 6.
Tickets for the event will go on sale next Friday (June 10)
At the first Battle of the Belts show, Sammy Guevara defeated Dustin Rhodes to win the interim TNT Championship, Ricky Starks defended his FTW gold against Matt Sydal, and Britt Baker retained her AEW Women’s Title over Riho.
The next event saw Guevara defeat Sky for the TNT Title, Jonathan Gresham submit Dalton Castle to retain the ROH World Championship, and Thunder Rosa best Nyla Rose in an AEW Women’s Title bout.
