VIDEO: Jon Moxley Involved In Insane Gruesome Spot During Non-AEW Event AEW

AEW’s Jon Moxley is current in Japan for NJPW Strong Independence Day and the crowd has gone wild for a gruesome spot.

In their ‘Exciting Encounter Doomsday’ No DQ match Moxley teamed with Homicide against Jun Kasai and El Desperado, with Moxley getting bloodied.

It didn’t end there, though, with Kasai crowning Moxley with chopsticks in the head.

The team of El Desperado & Jun Kasai would go on to defeat Jon Moxley & Homicide in a match that certainly lived up to the deathmatch ideology.

Not only did we see chopsticks in the head, but kendo sticks, trash can lids and spikes were also involved, as were forks, a butcher’s knife and a crucifix fashioned from razor blades.

As can be seen from the video below this news story, the NJPW crowd were vocal in their appreciation of this exciting encounter.

The match even got a “this is awesome” chant from the usually reserved NJPW faithful.

Moxley will be staying in Japan for a singles ‘Final Death’ match against Desperado tomorrow, meaning he won’t be live at Dynamite, and the segment that’s been announced for him is a pre-taped interview.

Elsewhere on the first night of the two-night NJPW event, AEW’s Eddie Kingston teamed with Rocky Romero to defeat KENTA & Gedo.

Bullet Club Wardogs (Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd) defeated Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) to become NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions.

That wasn’t the end of the success for new additions to the Bullet Club with Bullet Club Wardogs (Drilla Moloney & Clark Connors) defeating Catch 22 (TJP & Francesco Akira) to take the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
