This week on AEW: Dynamite, Best Friends and Orange Cassidy teamed up to defeat Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz of the Inner Circle in six-man tag team action. The match also had Chris Jericho on commentary.
Following on from this, the aforementioned Jericho and Sammy Guevara will team this week on Dynamite to take on Chucky T and Trent in a tag match. If Le Sex Gods win, they will become the number one contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Both Le Sex Gods and Best Friends challenging Omega and Page for the Tag Team Championships at Fyter Fest are exciting prospects, so it doesn’t really matter who wins this one from a fan perspective.
Le Sex Gods are not ranked in the tag team rankings at all, so this match was only made because Best Friends want revenge over The Inner Circle for their brutal attack on Orange Cassidy from this week’s show.
