For the first time ever, Chris Jericho and the Young Bucks are scheduled to team up in a six-man tag team match against the Bullet Club.
The match was announced during this weeks episode of Being the Elite when Marty Scurll, Cody, and Kenny Omega confronted the Young Bucks and Chris Jericho regarding the Bucks jumping ship from the Bullet Club to join Jericho’s mock-stable. The match is currently set to be Chris Jericho and the Young Bucks vs. Marty Scurll, Cody, and Kenny Omega taking place on the Jericho Cruise.
Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will be in the ring together for the first time since their Five Star match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 where Omega defeated Jericho to retain the IWGP United States Championship. Since then, both men have captured the two most prestigious championships in New Japan Pro Wrestling as Omega won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from Kazuchika Okada and Jericho defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
This storyline has been entirely shown on the weekly YouTube show Being the Elite which is produced by The Young Bucks and stars themselves and the Bullet Club. Jericho welcomed the Young Bucks into the Alpha Club in episode 109
