Some backstage news has emerged regarding plans for SmackDown stars to appear on tonight’s November 22 episode of WWE Raw.
At last night’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, Vince McMahon showed off that he had Cleopatra’s Golden Egg, which was a way to promote The Rock’s new ‘Red Notice’ movie as the sponsor of the show.
McMahon was shown on-screen arriving at the show in a limousine with the peripheral members of the roster cheering his arrival, and then later in the show, he was in his office and showed the egg to Roman Reigns.
However, when Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville went to speak to him later on, the egg was gone, so McMahon ordered Pearce to find out who stole it. McMahon claimed the egg was worth $100 million.
As a result, it was announced that members of both rosters will be on tonight’s Raw so Pearce can conduct his investigations as to who stole Vince McMahon’s $100 million golden egg.
No, I’m not making this up.
PWInsider is now reporting that the decision to have both rosters on tonight’s show was made this past Thursday, and much of the SmackDown roster didn’t actually know about it until the show on Friday.
Tonight’s show is set to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the same venue as Survivor Series.
