Bobby Fish is ‘ready to come back’

Bobby Fish is ‘ready to come back’

On March 4 this year, Bobby Fish suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee, which required surgery and put him out of action for several months.

Since then, Roderick Strong has joined the Undisputed Era to tag with Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby has made sporadic appearances after match wins to celebrate with his teammates.

However, very little has been known in terms of a time frame for Fish’s return, but thanks to Adam Cole (BAY BAY!), it seems that Fish could be returning at any moment.

Appearing on Edge and Christian’s Pod of Awesomeness, Cole discussed teaming with Fish, O’Reilly and Strong, and noted that Fish has been “working his tail off” to get back into the ring as soon as possible. Cole also suggested that Fish is now ready to return to in-ring competition.

“Bobby has been working his tail off rehabbing every single day and he’s ready, man. He’s ready to come back. And he’s ready to make this group even bigger than what it is. So I personally and I know Kyle and Roddy feel the same way, we can’t wait to get Bobby back with us.”

There has been no official word from WWE that Fish has been medically cleared to return, but then if it’s to be a surprise return, they’re not likely to announce it ahead of time.

NXT TakeOver: WarGames II is just over a month away on November 17, perhaps an opportune moment to re-introduce Fish into the line-up. Depending on the make-up of the match, we could see all four men of the Undisputed Era team for the first time as a foursome.
