After the events of tonight’s show, we now know that Kenny Omega and Hangman Page will defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships on next week’s Fyter Fest show. This comes after the champs defended their titles against Best Friends tonight.
Private Party also won their match tonight against Santana and Ortiz. While this was not advertised as a number one contenders match it appears that this is how it was treated. This new title match joins the card of five other matches already announced for AEW Fyter Fest Night Two.
Here is the full card for next week’s show:
- Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy
- Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela
- Nyla Rose vs. TBA
- Colt Cabana, Brodi Lee & Stu Grayson vs. SoCal Uncensored
- FTR & The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros. & The Butcher and The Blade
- AEW World Tag Team Championship Match – Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) vs. Private Party
In addition to this news, it was revealed that the AEW World Championship match has been moved. Instead of taking place on next week’s show, Jon Moxley will defend the title against Brian Cage at Fight for the Fallen the following week. You can read more about that news here.
