WWE’s second biggest premium live event of the year, SummerSlam, is set to take place this Saturday in Nashville, and the stars are out in full force for the show.
Logan Paul is currently set to make his singles WWE debut on the show, taking on The Miz following his betrayal of Paul back at WrestleMania.
The Miz recently aligned with Ciampa on Raw, where the two assaulted AJ Styles. The match is currently set to be a singles match between The Miz and Logan Paul, though fans have speculated that it could become a tag team encounter, with Ciampa teaming with Miz against Paul and AJ Styles.
Ciampa recently spoke about the alliance in an interview with Ringside Collectables at San Diego Comic Con, where he teased that he has had special gear made that is ‘more in The Miz’ realm’ for the show.
He said:
“A little spoiler, at SummerSlam, the stuff that we have being made as far as gear, way different for me, definitely in the Miz’ realm. I’m so excited. I saw a couple of photos and glimpses of what it’s going to look like. It’s freaking unreal. It’s awesome,”
While he did not confirm a change to the match, Ciampa having special SummerSlam gear made seems to imply that he will be added to the match at SummerSlam, which could be made official on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw in Madison Square Garden.
