New CM Punk WWE Reference & More Teases

New CM Punk WWE Reference & More Teases WWE/AEW

With another appearance by CM Punk comes more WWE references and teases! Get up date with the latest from Cage Fighting Fury Championship 127.

With CM Punk out of in-ring action, he certainly remains in the headlines as fans continue to speculate about whether or not they will see him return to WWE.

In another amusing twist, his co-hosts clearly know how to get people talking about CFFC and have little imbedded teases throughout their interaction latest with Punk.

In the clip you can see below, one co-host has a WWE logo in his pocket and goes on to say, “the guy needs a job and you’re sitting here busting his chops,” in reference to Punk.

The aforementioned chops busting came courtesy of the other co-host inquiring about being prepped to field CM Punk questions, a joking reference to recent stories saying that WWE stars were ‘prepped’ ahead of a recent WWE press conference regarding answering questions about him.

Also in the brief interaction, a mention of “Total Non-Stop Action” and a seemingly exaggerated delivery of the word “impact” which also could be taken as a TNA tease as well.

All of this of course depends on your level of commitment to wanting to see CM Punk in WWE.

The latest reports are that WWE is not currently interested in a Punk return.

For their part, IMPACT Wrestling (soon to be TNA) has stated its doors are open to CM Punk should he wish to visit them again.

Punk was recently backstage in Chicago at IMPACT’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.
