Cody Rhodes Breaks Silence On Potential New WWE Teammates

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has broken his silence regarding a potential new alliance that may have formed on WWE Raw.

In the main event of this week’s Raw (December 11) Rhodes looked to get some revenge on Shinsuke Nakamura following his poison mist attack on him two weeks prior.

Unfortunately for Rhodes, he would get no revenge, instead only getting another helping of mist; winning the match via disqualification.

While this was bad enough, things could have been even worse for Rhodes however, if it wasn’t for a run-in save from The Creed Brothers.

With The Creeds set to team for an Undisputed Tag Team Title match against Finn Bálor and Damian Priest next week on Raw (December 18), the run-in was a surprise to some, with Rhodes seemingly earning himself some unexpected new friends.

Now, taking to Twitter in his first comments since Raw, Rhodes addressed his relationship with Julius and Brutus, saying:

Creed boys are good boys

Clearly, while not giving much away, Rhodes is thankful for The Creeds’ help at the conclusion of Raw, so we’ll have to wait and see what this new friendship develops into.

There has yet to be any announcement regarding a potential rematch between Rhodes and Nakamura as of yet, but it’s not hard to imagine one coming in the near-future.
